Last year was pretty rough, my father was diagnosed fought and lost his battle with cancer so fast that I barely had time to get used to the idea that he was ill. Mesothelioma is pretty damned aggressive once those fibers get to work in your lungs. Anyway, I didn't just lose my father, I lost one of my best friends last year.
This year has been pretty rough as well with the loss of my father-in-law to cancer as well. Actually, he and my father were diagnosed within weeks of one another. My father-in-law put up a hell of a fight too, but ultimately made his transition early this Summer. Strange how things happen.
So in the midst of fighting illness, loss, grief, and acceptance, I've managed to work some, though not as prolifically as years past. Here are my works to date for 2015.
